32 Years of Excellence in Medical Education!

The Institute for Emergency Medical Education (IEME) is a non profit foundation dedicated to excellence in medical education.

Founded in 1977, IEME has conducted numerous education programs throughout the United States and in foreign nations. Further, it has helped to establish or improve emergency care in several nations including the Peoples Republic of China, Hungary, Romania, and the Czech Republic. In the future it hopes to continue this tradition of sharing the message of improved Emergency Care.

In the past IEME has worked closely with The Washington Chapter of The American College of Emergency Physicians, The American College of Emergency Physicians and other quality organizations to accomplish these goals. It now has formed an alliance and partnership with Emergencies in Medicine (EIM).

IEME will continue to strive for the future while keeping its foundation rooted in the lessons of the past.
